Why God expects his people to praise Him- Pastor Onibaba

The District Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church, Transfiguration Hill, Pastor I. O. Onibaba has stated the reasons God expect his people to praise Him.

While preaching on the topic 'Praising the Lord' yesterday during a praise programme organized by the Choir of the church, Pastor Onibaba said God expect his people to praise him because of his mighty acts, stating that God created everything through His mighty acts.

He further stated that Christians must praise God for the work of salvation, adding that that was why Apostle Paul said in Romans 1 vs. 16 that "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek."

Pastor Onibaba noted that: "Salvation rescue us from bondage of sin and eternal death. There is physical and spiritual salvation. The way God delivered the Israelite from Egypt is physical salvation, while the way he safe Jaccheaus is spiritual salvation."

According to him, God want to dwell in His people and he wants His people to praise and worship Him from the bottom of their hearts.
