The new Youth
Officer of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor Sam Gbuyiro has said that
his administration will be giving CAC campus fellowships the required
attention.
Pastor Gbuyiro
said this recently in an exclusive interview with CAC NEWS.
He disclosed
that ‘Academic Summit’ which did not hold this year, will hold next year,
adding that they are believing God for other national programmes so that the
campus fellowship will really feel the touch of the youth fellowship and the
support of the leadership of the church.
He commended
the effort of CAC members who attends CACYOF on campus; they have indeed make
the authority of the church proud.
“I commend the
unwavering loyalty of the youth of Christ Apostolic Church, especially those
one on campus. This is because of their commitment to the church. They have
options of going to other denomination. But because they are so proud of CAC,
regardless of what is happening in the church, they are still very comfortable
and proud to be members of Christ Apostolic Church. I really commend their
effort, commitment and loyalty. Base on that, the only option we have is to
give the campus fellowship the required attention in all ramifications,” Pastor
Gbuyiro said.
According to
him, the leadership of the church is aware of the need to bring the youth of
the church together and create conducive atmosphere for them that will enable
them to function for God and also still remain in the church.
Similarly, not
too long ago, some youths of the church advised the new youth officer on how to
handle, coordinate or administrate the campus fellowships. They gave their
opinions through the WhatsApp group of CAC NEWS.
Mr. Tolu-tope
Dada of CAC New Covenant Assembly, Lagos started by congratulating him and pray
for him that God grant him wisdom and divine directions for him.
He suggested that there should be more
integration and participation among the campus fellowships, emphasising that
leaders should be breed from there.
Dada said that campus fellowship coordinators should be mentored and some of them can actually pastor and plant churches directed towards the young folks.
Mr. Oniwinde
Ayodeji of CACYOF Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) chapter
advised Pastor Gbuyiro to see to the matters affecting Campus Fellowship in
various institutions.
He noted that most of these fellowships need
urgent advices, attentions and need.
He said the
Church authority through the Youth Office, in the past has made promises to
some of these campus fellowships but some of these promises have not been
fulfilled as at now.
"We pray that God will use him
tremendously in his new office for the expansion of the Kingdom project and the
Growth of CACYOF Worldwide," he concluded.
Evangelist
Omotosho of CAC Oke Ife, Isolo District
Headquarters advised the new Youth Officer to work on the church's corpers'
fellowship.
"I know what other churches do for their corpers. Pastor Gbuyiro should try to bring back our children in other churches with sound doctrines of our fathers. God will help him to succeed in Jesus name Amen," Evangelist Omotosho said.
