Pastor Akinosun ministered, as CAC Olorunshogo celebrates 70th anniversary in grand style

It was scintillating, glamorous, glorious and electrifying atmosphere as Christ Apostolic Church, Olorunshogo Mushin District Coordinating Council Headquarters celebrated her 70th anniversary in grand style on Sunday 10th December, 2017.
The ancient church started activities to mark the 70th anniversary on Sunday 4th of November, 2017.
The anniversary was graced by some principal officers of CAC Worldwide. They are CAC President, Pastor Abraham Akinosun, General Superintendent, Pastor S.O Oladele, General Secretary, Pastor E.E. Mapur and Finance Director, Pastor J.F Omitinde.
Other renowned ministers of God in CAC Worldwide who were present were the Music Director, CAC Worldwide, Pastor Tope Dada, Zonal Superintendent, Ebute-Metta Zone, Pastor Gbenga Adelusi, DCC Superintendent, CAC Oke Igbala Ketu DCC, Pastor M.O Yussuf and Director of Missionary, CAC Worldwide, Pastor Fasuyi among others.
In a bid to appreciate those who have contributed their quotas to the development of the church, awards were given to present and past heroes and heroines of the church.
A book titled “Christian Values in Nation Building" was launched at the programme. The book is the compilation of the outcome of a symposium organized to mark the 70th anniversary on Saturday 24th November, 2017.
The church also dedicated a new building. It was dedicated by Pastor Akinosun. The magnificent building is meant for English Assembly, children Sunday School Classes, library and prayer room among others.
While preaching on the theme "Peace Through All Men," Pastor Akinosun said that whoever pursue peace with people seek Jesus Christ.
He said that there is unrest almost everywhere in the world today because the world has forsaken Christ who is the Prince of Peace.
He noted that as long as human race forsake God, evil occurrence will continue on earth, explaining that without Christ there can never be peace, love, forgiveness, salvation, reconciliation, unity, fulfillment and meaningful life.
According to Pastor Akinosun, the world is shaking today because it has rejected the Prince of Peace which is Jesus Christ.
"Christians must be instruments of love, peace and reconciliation. We must adhere to God's divine commandments and teach others through our lifestyles. You can have everything you want, but without salvation, they are vanity," he said.
