CAC Members advice leaders, as third Factions Unity Prayer holds today
By ‘Gbenga Bankole
As the third Unity Prayer of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide
factions hold today, members of the foremost African Pentecostal church have
been speaking to CAC NEWS about their expectations.
The first joint prayer meeting between the two factions
which are the General Executive Council and Supreme Council was held on 20th
December 2017, while the second one was held on the 12th of January,
2018.
CAC NEWS gathered that the prayer meeting was sequel to a
letter written by the immediate past General Evangelist of the GEC faction,
Pastor S.K. Abiara to the leaders of the two factions, to the effect that God
sent him with a message to the said leaders, to hold a joint prayer meeting on
the Church unity move, from 12pm to 3pm on any chosen date.
It must be noted that the two prayer meetings held so far
was indeed a success and has brought a sigh of relief that the 27years battle
is over.
Today’s meeting will hold at Babalola Memorial International
Prayer Ground, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun state by 10am.
Some members and cleric of the church have made their
opinions known to CAC NEWS regarding the unification of the church.

Firstly, I give all glories to the God of our fathers for
allowing this unification in our mission, this time and period. Let me also
thank our lucky fathers, Pastor Abraham Akinosun and Pastor Gabriel Olagunju
whom God had successfully used to hear the end of the 27 years disagreement in
our mission. I happened to be the happiest man on earth when I had the news
that settlement is reached by the factions.
The Motto of this mission, which is
One Fold, One Shepherd had been
jettisoned: for such a long quarrelling years. Now that the peace move is here
and another round of unity prayer is here: May I advise my fathers and
mothers(if included) in the factions to allow peace to finally come to this
mission. Let go, whatever anyone needs to loose and accept, whatever needs to
be accepted for that peace to come to CAC Worldwide (Mother of all Pentecostal
churches in Nigeria/Africa). Let me add this: your names had already been
written in gold.
This generation of worshippers, will never forget your
contributions towards resolving the crises. My fathers in-the Lord, both
history and the heavenlies are waiting for you. May you be strengthened in Jesus
name.

It is an answer to prayer. It shows that God is always a
faithful God who answers prayers at his own time even though we thought it is
overdue. He makes it beautiful at this time. It is our sincere prayer that this
unification will transform and reconfigure our church and the nation and also
rewrite every decadence in the church of Christ.

This unification gathering is really the Lord's doing which
is marvelous in our sight. My advice to our leaders is to allow the Holy Spirit
to lead through their hearts where ever and whenever the two factions meet for
prayer and reconciliation meeting, not to allow power and position to deny
Christ Apostolic Church of being "One Fold, One Shepherd" again.

The leaders should prayerfully adopt a system that will
accommodate both parties in other to create a line of continuity in all areas
and all departments.
One fold one Shepherd
