CACYOF national inaugurates 13 working committees
For ease administration and proper organization of its
programmes, the youth department of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide has
inaugurated 13 working committees.
The committees were inaugurated at the recently held
Coordinators’ meeting at Ikeji-Arakeji Osun state.
CAC NEWS gathered that the committees are National Planning Committee
on Youth Conference, National Committee on Academic Summit, National Committee on
Music Concert, National Committee on
Campus Fellowship Rules and Regulation Formation, National Committee on Sisters’
Fellowship, National Committee on Publicity/ICT, National Committee on Youth
Rules and Regulations Review and National Committee on Youth Leadership Summit.
Others include National Committee on Youth Campus Crusade, National
Committee on Youth Prayer Congress, National Committee on Youth Fellowship in
Diaspora, National Committee on Fund Mobilization and Investment and National Committee
on Sports.
The committees are to start work immediately. The meeting was attended by Youth Coordinators
from nooks and crannies of the country.
While preaching at the meeting, the Youth Officer of CAC
Worldwide, Pastor Sam Gbuyiro said that for anyone to do well in the work of
God, the mindset of God is needed, saying that every appointment in the kingdom
is exclusively designed for service.
The Cleric noted that if God has chosen or called you, there
is no other thing he has in mind than for you to work for him.
He reiterated that when God call someone to work for him, it
is not about title or position, but it's quite unfortunate that people are
running after title this days.
According to him, Jesus denied himself of his throne in
Heaven just because he wanted to serve mankind.
The Cleric said as believers, we have been chosen to work
for Him, occupy for Him, expand for Him, raise leaders for him and bring more
people into His kingdom.
"The reason why Jesus has chosen us is for service, not
for us to struggle for power or title. Anywhere we desire to see Jesus working
today, men must be on ground to work for Him. They must be there putting things
in place. The revival of 1930 was made possible because men were on
ground," he said.
Pastor Gbuyiro said that several people are working for God
today without instructions, saying that the definition of the ministry is no
other than "the Harvest is Great."
He also added that every great work attract commitment, saying anywhere you
see men and women committed to God's work, it is simply because the harvest is
great.
"There is no way you won't be great if you're
identifying with what is great. Your lifting is attach to the work. The harvest
of God in the youth department of CAC Worldwide is great. When harvest is not
properly handled, the labour of the master will be wasted," Pastor Gbuyiro
noted.
