The Director of Sunday School, Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Pastor S.O Aluko has sad that God cannot be manipulated by noises of prayers, saying that the more of God you know, the better your relationship with Him.

The minister of God stated this yesterday Thursday 22^nd March 2018 while delivering a lecture on the topic “Zeal For God” at the ongoing 41^st Annual Decentralised Sunday School Rally organized by Sunday School Department of CAC Worldwide in Ikeji-Arakeji Osun state.

While defining Zeal as the capacity or state of passionate commitment to a person or cause, the cleric said that it is the zeal for His work that will make you fast for your church when fasting has not been announced.

He said that there is positive and negative zeal and there can be zeal without knowledge, stating categorically that sometimes, some assignments are executed without zeal.

Pastor Aluko implored the Sunday School Teachers to work for God zealously saying that working for God with zeal has to do with our inner desire to know Him, relate with Him and happily do all He expects.

“God is the one that normally comes with the first contact with anyone, thereafter your response determines how far you would go. He wants to reveal more of His love, power, wisdom and provisions, but there is the need for deliberate desire (inward) which He normally recognizes,” he noted.

He said as workers in His vineyard, we must develop zeal for Him, for His house, for His word, for His work and for His people.

The cleric listed time, distance, work, socials, sports and technology as factors militating against our zeal for God’s house this day.

According to him, God is not just interested in what we do, He watches and rewards how and why it is done.
