CAC Yaba DCC awards MFM, Olorunshogo DCC, Chapel of Healing Cross Directors of Music

Having considered their unquantifiable contributions to the development of music in the Christendom and society at large, the Choir Department of Christ Apostolic Church, Yaba Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) headquarters, Lagos has awarded the Music Director Emeritus, Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, Princess Banke Ademola; Director of Music, CAC Olorunshogo, Pastor Philip Ayeni; and Director of Music Emeritus, Chapel of Healing Cross Idi-Araba, Pastor Yemi Akinsanya.
They were presented with the awards for also being their 2018 Veterans at a programme organised by the Choir tagged "Evening with the Veterans." which was held on Sunday 27th of May, 2018.
Evening with The Veterans is a programme specially packaged to bring together music icons, get them to conduct the choir during singing of hymns and celebrate them.
The Music Director Emeritus, Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministeries, Princess Banke Ademola commended Yaba DCC headquarters Choir for the award.
She also noted that the choristers are indeed world class having made the job easier for her while conducting them.
The Director of Music, CAC Olorunshogo, Pastor Philip Ayeni and Director of Music Emeritus, Chapel of Healing Cross Idi-Araba, Pastor Yemi Akinsanya appreciated the choir for the honour.
While appreciating the music czars, the Director of Music/Chief Organist, Yaba DCC headquarters, Elder S.K.O Annan said they were grateful to the veterans for honouring their invitation despite their tight schedules.
He prayed for them that God will honour them in heaven.
The Superintendent of Yaba DCC, Pastor SEA Oludare also appreciated the music czars for honouring their invitation.
Pastor Oludare said hymn singers may be aged, but they are always younger in heart.
According to him, anybody can sing, but you need Holy Spirit to sing accepted hymns.
