The annual "Showers of Blessing" organized by Christ Apostolic Church, Itire Districts' Coordinating Council (DCC) headquarters will start today Monday June 18, 2018 with Pre-showers of Blessing programme.
Showers of Blessing is an annual 7 weeks prayer programme of Itire DCC headquarters. It is a programme where the God of Ayo Babalola has done uncountable signs and wonders since its inception.
The Pre-Showers of Blessing programme has two phases. The first phase which is the first week will hold from today Monday 18, to Saturday June 23, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm. The second phase (2nd week) will hold from 24th to 30th June, 2018 by 6pm to 8pm.
In an interview with CAC NEWS, the Itire DCC Superintendent, Pastor Gideon O. Oladokun said that Showers of Blessing is a yearly programme that CAC Itire DCC headquarter hosts, saying that it takes place at Itire DCC headquarters.
He noted that this year's edition of the programme will start in June and end in August, adding that the theme for this year’s edition is “I will heal your land.”
While shedding light on the theme, Pastor Oladokun said; "God laid it in my heart that people are sick physically, materially and spiritually. He assured me that He will heal them in the programme. When God gave me that vision and whispered to me that to me that He wants to heal His people, I quickly searched for it in the scripture where God says “I will heal your land.” The healing is for everybody."
The Cleric enjoined people to attend the programme, disclosing that by the grace of God they have invited powerful and anointed ministers of God with difference in CAC.
He further stated that; "I want to believe that anyone who comes will never regret his or her coming. We are bringing various ministers. Among the ministers of God we invited are those who have the gift of healing, signs and wonders, miracles, those who are very prayerful and those who are teachers. It is going to be fantastic. The lives of those who come for the programme will never remain the same."
