the efforts of the leadership of the school, all faculty members, students and
the graduands.
“Jesus called people from nothing
not only to be His disciples, but to be partners with Him in the course of His
redemptive mission to the whole world. Count it a joy, therefore, that you
received this glorious call into the ministry. As those who have been called
before did not fail Him, so also do not fail Him. He has called you to be role
models like Joseph, Peter, Joseph Ayo Babalola, Isaac Akinyele and a host of
other saints triumphant,” Pastor Mapur said.
The Provost of the school, Pastor
Stephen O.A. Afolabi while delivering ‘Provost’s Address’ said that the parents
and guardians of the graduands should be praised for their positive efforts
that brought their wards to this point of achievement.
According to him, CAC Theological
Seminary, Ile-Ife and its satellite campuses of which Ilesa campus is one, are
modern time and relevant theological institutions that offer useful courses and
programmes for human development both spiritually, mentally, morally,
economically, academically and psychologically.
“We are at this point
appreciating the contribution of the immediate past governing council members
headed by Pastor G.O. Babatola, while also at this juncture congratulating and
appreciating the contribution of the newly inaugurated Governing Council
members headed by Pastor E. S. Famuyide for the success achieved today. You
shall know no failure in life in Jesus’ name. Also mention cannot but be made
of the immense contribution to the success of today by the Campus Management
Committee headed by Pastor T.O. Ajayi. All my esteemed colleagues and staff
headed by Pastor (Dr.) A. A. Abayomi are enthusiastically and warmly
appreciated for their pro-active and profound efforts which culminated in all
that made today a success,” the Provost said.
He thanked the church authority
for the great stride taken in the effective discharge of administration by the
establishment of regions and the elevation of capable hands to head the regions.
While delivering the Convocation
Speech, the Coordinator, CAC Babajide School of Prophets and Evangelists,
Pastor (Dr.) A. A. Abayomi said the degree students are graduating with
specialization from the campus.
He noted that they are combining
academics with spirituality in Bachelor of Evangelism, Prophetism and Missions.
The Coordinator also said that
all graduands irrespective of their area of specialization have demonstrated
and imbibed the culture of stewardship, servanthood, humility and contentment,
urging them to continue in these and run away from worldliness.
The Chairman of CAC Theological
Seminary Governing Council, Pastor E. S. Famuyide while delivering his address
charged the graduands to exhibit the act of digging the bible deeper and living
holy life.
He also implored the graduands to
preach the gospel without adulteration nor sentiment and pray like the apostles
and founding fathers of CAC Worldwide.
“I commend the efforts of the
Campus Management Committee under the chairmanship of Pastor (Dr.) T. O. Ajayi
and the Coordinator of this campus, Pastor (Dr.) A. A. Abayomi and his
hardworking members of staff, both teaching and non teaching. I also appreciate
the committed and dedicated efforts of the students populace in working in
obedience with the state of the campus in turning this wilderness to Babajide
