The Directorate of Music
Department, Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide yesterday Wednesday July 11,
2018 held a Regional Choir Leaders’ meeting at the mission’s General
Secretariat, Ibadan Oyo state.
The meeting which was well
attended was chaired by CAC Worldwide Music Director, Pastor Tope Dada.
Pastor Tope Dada informed the
Choir Leaders on the upcoming national programmes of the church and educated
them on the expectations of the authorities.
He directed the regional leaders
to raise choristers from their regions for the forthcoming Centenary
celebrations of the church. He informed each region the number of choristers
expected from them for the celebrations.
On Pentecostal Night, Pastor Tope
Dada disclosed that the programme will be holding on monthly basis at Babalola
Memorial International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, adding that the Choir will
be present for the programme.
He further stated that the choir will
made up of majorly Babalola and Odubanjo regions, while an assigned region will
be joining them on monthly basis, stating that there will be a roster for that
from next year.
The music czar also informed the
Regional Choir Leaders that as from next year the General Evangelist of the
mission, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji will be holding regional crusades, noting
that they should get their choirs ready for the task ahead.
While talking on Christmas Carol,
Pastor Tope Dada said, “Christmas Carol has come to stay in CAC Worldwide. We
thank God for last year’s edition. This year’s edition will be holding on
Friday December 14th, 2018. I want choristers from all the regions to be part
of it, even our brethren from the eastern and northern parts of the country.”
According to him, we need 500
choristers to be in our national choir, urging the choir leaders not to bring
anyhow people, but people who are truly born again.
He said those who want to be part
of the national choir must be those who believe in the church, particularly the
doctrines of the church.
I am happy with this new development and it is a sign of the coming end time revival. God bless Christ Apostolic Church, God bless the churches in Nigeria.
