The President of Christ Apostolic
Church, Worldwide, Pastor Abraham Olukunle Akinosun has urged Nigerians to be praying for
the nation, saying that Nigeria is sitting on a keg of gunpowder.
Pastor Akinosun who prayed for
the peace and progress of Nigeria, called on political leaders to look unto
God.
The Cleric noted this on Sunday
July 29, 2018 at the 60th anniversary thanksgiving of CAC, Oke
Ibukun, Oke Ado Districts’ Coordinating Council headquarters, Ibadan Oyo state.
According to him, instead of our
political leaders to call on the King of glory which is God, they are busy
running round for unholy alliances.
Pastor Akinosun said that
considering the present situation of the country, all Nigerians owe the nation
sacrifice of prayer and we must pray wholeheartedly.
“We need to pray for the nation
Nigeria with all our hearts. We need to safe the nation from the present danger
and predicament. We need to pray to God in order for us to overcome the blood
sucking demon,” he stated.
At the 60th
anniversary, all the Principal Officers of CAC Worldwide were honoured with
awards. The President of the mission, Pastor Akinosun was given “Pillar of
Faith” award for his unquantifiable contribution to the work of God in CAC
Worldwide over the years.
