The Youth Officer of Christ
Apostolic Church, Worldwide Pastor Samson O. Gbuyiro has urged singles to see
marriage the way God sees it, without which error and failure become
inevitable.
The Youth Officer who told the
singles that why they will marry is as important as who they will marry noted
that marital choice is the most crucial and significant decision that is
central to destiny fulfillment.
Pastor Gbuyiro said this while
ministering on the topic "Choosing A Right Partner" at the just
concluded Academic Summit organised by the Youth Department of CAC Worldwide at
Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun state.
He further said that marital
choice goes beyond choosing a business partner, a roommate or prayer partner, adding that the choice of
marital partner you make as single will affect your entire life.
According to him, much happiness
in life depends on marital choice, stating categorically that it is better to
be single and be alone than to be married to a wrong person.
The Youth Officer who said
desperation in the area of marital choice leads to frustration, advised
Christian singles not to be yoked with anyone who is not yoked with Christ.
"If you rush into marriage,
you may end up with someone who will bury your dreams and destiny. If you
desire to go far in life, you must work on making a right choice in marriage.
The right to choose makes you responsible for your life's fortunes and
misfortunes, especially in marriage. Nobody will accept the blame of your
marital failure because it is your choice," he stated.
While speaking on the required
attitudes to make a right choice, Pastot Gbuyiro advised Christian singles to
think deeply of fundamental truths about life, accept responsibility, show
commitment and have unreserved and complete mind set for God's intervention.
"You are not far away from
deceit and destruction if you make outward look your first step. Learn from
Esau, Samson, Jacob and Dinah whom this error left a scars after successfully
running their glorious destinies," he explained.
The cleric advised singles to be
committed to God in obedience and prayer, adding that they should regularly
study the word of God for illumination and revelation.
