Reflecting God’s glory, main reason all Christians exist- Pastor Aluko
By ‘Gbenga Bankole
The Director of Sunday School, Christ Apostolic Church,
Worldwide, Pastor S.O. Aluko has said every Christian ought to live to reflect
God’s glory through practicalising the love of Christ.
While ministering on the topic “Reflecting God’s Glory
Through Christlike Love” at the just concluded 74th Good Women Conference,
Ikeji 1 (which comprises Edo, Ekiti and Ondo states) in Ikeji-Arakeji Osun
State at the weekend, Pastor Aluko stated that Christ during His earthly
ministry had no other assignment than to show how God is, adding that every
Christian should do nothing less than this.
“If you are married, your marriage should show God’s glory.
Everything you do must reflect the glory of God. Every Christian must emulate
Christ, anything less than this is failure. Walking or working with God is not
theoretical, it involves action. Wherever you are, people should look at you
and see Jesus,” he said.
The Cleric noted there are many Christians who are
strikingly rich, but majority of them are not reflecting God’s glory.
According to the Director of Sunday School, reflecting the
glory of God and delegation of power is sacrificial.
He said every Christian needs to be humble to reflect God’s
glory, adding that Jesus was humble to the core that was why He died for the
sin of the world.
“Wherever you are or find yourself, the first identity God
wants to see is the identity of His children. New heart or heart of Jesus is
needed to reflect the glory of God,” he concluded.
