The immediate past General Evangelist of Christ Apostolic
Church Worldwide, Prophet S.K. Abiara has said he is moving into another
chapter of evangelism.
Prophet Abiara who disclosed this recently during an
interview said that he is now General
Evangelist for all churches, irrespective of denomination, across the world.
He noted that is doors are open to any church, organisation,
whether large or small, and would oblige, without any form of hesitation, to
join the people of God to further propagate the gospel of Christ.
When being asked that what is his message to churches that
find themselves engulfed in crisis when it comes to clerics stepping down from
leadership positions, Prophet Abiara said that;" this is a simple example
for all those in positions of power to take a cue from. They must act in
accordance to their constitutions and not in any way try to cause commotion.
Staying put in power is not in any way appropriate. I resigned at the right
time and I am happy with my decision and I am sure that people are happy with
the development,"
"It is biblical to obey the voice of God and that of authority. It is ideal to comply with stated laws and obligations. In fact, I was the first person to formally inform the church authority about my retirement, even before I clocked 75,"
"I wrote a letter in April that I would retire in August, because I didn’t want them to be the ones to notify me. It was not as if I was in a hurry to resign, I just wanted to let them know that I was abiding by the rules and regulations of the church and they were very surprised at my decision. I was to vacate the office in August, but they wanted me to leave officially in December."
