What critics forgot to tell us about Nigeria church
Over the years, Nigeria church has been over-criticized by
most Nigerians who blame the church for everything. Majority of those criticisms
are simply bias. Nigeria church has been blamed for almost everything that went
wrong in our society. The social media is jam-packed with negative stories or
messages about the church. Meanwhile, majority of those critics and their
followers have in one way or the other enjoyed from the spiritual blessings of
the church. Infact some of them attended primary and secondary schools built by
the church. It is now they don’t see anything good in the church. Some people
derive happiness in putting together negative write-ups about the church. They
are ignorant of the fact that there can never be perfect church. The church is
like a woman. There is no perfect woman anywhere. It is Christ, who is husband
that is sustaining the church.
Majority of those bias critics forgot to tell the world the
following about Nigeria church;
1. For many years, Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC) has been
feeding the poor for free especially during her Retreats -
2. Deeper Life builds a #3 Billion Naira Church facility to
cater for her teeming multitudes-(The Church comes under attack for not giving
the money to the poor by people who probably have never cared for others) !

sprawling city (Redemption Camp) at no cost to the government helping to
decongest Lagos-(No one is interested) -
4. Christ Embassy inspires and sponsors hundreds of youths
talented in the music ministry-Bad for news.
5. Churches establish universities ensuring that many
otherwise jobless academics are gainfully employed -
6. Covenant,
JABU, BIU and Landmark Universities are among the 10 cheapest private
universities -
7. David Oyedepo Foundation now gives about N500 million
annually in her 24 year old scholarship scheme to indigent students-
9. Pastor Adeboye and wife build rehabilitation centre in
Epe for youths overtaken by drug addiction -
10. Adeboye and
Oyedepo clock 50 and 35 years in marriage respectively-

The Church of Christ will never be able
