CAC Worldwide choir department to hold national music workshop for choristers

In a bid to bring drastic improvement and transformation to choir at assembly, district, zonal and DCC levels, the choir department of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide will hold a week music  workshop for all choristers.

The Music Director of CAC Worldwide, Pastor Tope Dada disclosed this recently in an exclusive interview with CAC NEWS.

He noted that the workshop will hold next year in Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU), Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun state, explaining that lectures will be delivered on theory of music, practice of music and ethics of ministers.

Pastor Dada who said that the authority of the church has approved the workshop noted that there will be 40hours of training during the music workshop which he said will lasted for one week.

“There is sufficient accommodation for the workshop. The authority of the church has approved it. There we will talk about theory of music, practice of music and ethics of ministers. These are the three areas we will focus on. Participant will know what it takes to be a chorister. We will be expecting leaders of the choir from the children church, juvenile church and adult church. We are going to have at least 40 hours of training during the seminar. We are also going to discuss about attitude and entrepreneurship education. The problem at time is that when some people are not doing well in their chosen career, they will depend on the church and begin to misbehave. We have seen several people in that group and we are working against that,” he said.
